Skools Inn is our brand new venture offering high quality Pre-School education to children aged 2-5years in Fleetwood.

Skools Inn will be managed by Faye Scott who has the relevant qualifications to support and nurture children through their Pre-School years with a “READINESS FOR SCHOOL” being a major focus on your Child’s education. Faye has a full level 3 qualification in early years together with a level 3 and 4 in play work and is in her final year at edge hill university studying a degree in early childhood play.

Part time Pre-School sessions will be fully funded by Lancashire County Council entitling your child to 15 hours FREE Pre-School education each week. Skools Inn can also offer you child care from 7.30 am to 6.00pm (with additional fees).

Skools Inn works very closely with ALL primary Schools in Fleetwood so should your child need After School Care once they start School in September, Skools Out will then continue to provide Childcare for your child up until they reach their 14 birthday, so rest assure all your Childcare needs are taken care of.

Outdoor Play

All Pre-School children will have continued access to outdoor play, a large self contained outdoor play area is available to all children come rain or shine, areas for drawing, mark making, story reading, free play, sand and water play and much more is always available in outdoor play sessions.

Snack and Lunch Session

Snack will be available to children throughout both am and pm sessions, children should bring with them a packed lunch and children staying full day sessions will be offered a hot snack at the afternoon snack time. Children will be able to have snack and lunch indoors or outdoors (weather depending).

IT

Children will be able to explore the IT equipment throughout the Pre-School session via computers and internet access (monitored by staff) interactive games, recordable story times and digital cameras for their use.

Indoor Play

Creative activities will play a major part of your Child’s Pre-School education by way of Sand and water, mark making, painting, drawing, chalking, measuring, team playing, sharing, messy play, gluing and sticking, cutting, writing and much more all monitored and assessed by qualified staff who will record your Child’s progress.

Parent Evenings

Your Child’s key worker will invite you to regular parent evenings where you will be able to chat to your Child’s key worker about your Child’s progress and get an opportunity to see your Child’s achievements. You will be able to voice any concerns you may have regarding your Child’s education and or care as well and being able to fully understand the EYFS program and how your child development is growing.
